COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Situated in the rolling Palouse hills of the northern Idaho panhandle, the City of Moscow supports a population of 22,000. Moscow, known as the "Heart of the Arts", is a center for cultural and recreational activities.

The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute provides the community with expertise in watershed restoration, environmental education, sustainable food production, transportation and alternative energy solutions. It also oversees the AmeriCorps placement program for the state of Idaho.

 Moscow Recycling Center

The Moscow Recycling Center provides curbeside and drop-off recycling services for glass, plastics, paper products, cardboard, and more.
